THE DUNNY RACES ARE BACK TO AUSTRALIA DAY!
Get ready for the biggest Australia Day Festival at The Banana Bender Pub – an all-day, action-packed celebration with fierce competitions, classic Aussie food, and loads of laughs. Grab a team and join the fun with our Dunny Races and cane toad races, where you and your mates can compete for instant cash and prizes. Are you fast enough to beat the clock or back the right toad? It's a full family day of fun that the kids will love!
For the little legends, we’ve got plenty of free activities to keep them entertained! Kids can try their hand at thong throwing, take on the lamington challenge, and enjoy free face painting, all in true Aussie spirit. While they’re at it, you can grab an ice-cold drink and a tasty snack from Mango's Bar and Grill – a true-blue Aussie feast. Mango's Bar and Grill will have all day dinging - Tuck into traditional steak sanga. All kids event are FREE
AUSTRALIA DAY EVENT DAY RUNDOWN
10am- 12pm – The Heats for the Great Australian Dunny Races Begin
10am – Face Painting with Karlie starts on the verandah.
10am – The Banana Bender kitchen opens with their full menu plus a traditional Steak Sanga.
12pm – Live Music - “Fried out Kombi” starts playing in the Beer Garden. Aussie Rock Classics
12pm – The Great Australian Dunny Races wrap up.
1pm – Face Painting with Karlie concludes.
12pm – Lamington Eating Competition starts in the shed (heats for kids and adults)
1pm – Thong Toss competition in the shed
2pm – The Great Australian Cane Toad Races start in the shed

Spot it. Count it. Win it. No big people allowed… kids are running this hunt!
Calling all junior detectives! This Australia Day, kids can take part in The Big Banana Hunt at the Banana Bender Pub. Somewhere inside the venue, we’ve hidden between 1 and 100 sneaky little bananas - and it’s up to the kids to find them all.
